Must Read Books For 2019

The debate over what are your 'must read books' is one that is often raised in conversations amongst friends at social events such as dinner parties and the like. It is a fascinating conversation because there is no right or wrong answer and the amount of subjective opinion can demonstrate a lot about the proposer's character, personality and outlook on life.

At Motivating Words we wouldn't presume to define those book titles for you because we would get it wrong. However, we can add to your debate by showing your our picks and letting you decide whether we have got it right in various categories.

When we look back at these lists and the books contained in them there are some obvious contenders for books that you should read at least once in your lifetime but which haven't been included.

We have added a few below, without further comment but with the suggestion that you have a read when you get the time:

Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen)

Little Women (Louisa May Alcott)

Charlotte's Webb (E B White)

Jane Eyre (Charlotte Bronte)

The End of the Affair (Graham Greene)

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Lewis Carroll)

Murder on the Orient Express (Agatha Christie)
